Located in the Old Port of Montreal, the 130-person restaurant was designed to include elements indicative of the maritime shipping heritage of the area while accentuating the rich architecture of the eighteenth century building. The two-story space was entirely stripped and rebuilt in adherence with the stringent heritage conservation requirements of the city of Montreal. The project included custom woodwork, new walls and interior finishes, a new high performance ecological ventilation exhaust system, plumbing, electrical work, sprinklers and refrigeration work.
