Ecologically Sustainable Development

St-Jean et Fils is currently working with experienced professionals in the area of ecologically sound construction technologies with the aim advancing sustainable development in the industry. Our focus is on incorporating existing ecologically sustainable technologies into construction projects and bringing innovative technologies from the laboratory to commercial applications. In addition, we are working to develop a new, more efficient method of construction in which a project is streamlined at all stages of development to reduce waste by customizing the design and construction of the project to existing and readily available resources. This process involves the extensive cooperation between the design/architectural team, product/material suppliers and the construction team.

Ecologically sustainable technologies include: geothermal heating/cooling systems, grey-water recovery and treatment systems, advanced thermal-insulation techniques, and the application of renewable-energy generating systems such as solar panels and wind turbines.
